Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Blob ("Blob," "we," "us") governing your use of the Blob service. By creating an account or using Blob, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The service

Blob is a chat-first video editor. You upload footage and describe the edits you want, and Blob produces edited video for you. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the service.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use Blob.

3. Your content and your rights

You own your content. The footage, audio, and files you upload remain yours. By using Blob, you grant us only the limited permission we need to store your content and process it to produce the edits you request. We do not claim ownership of your uploads or your finished videos.

You own your output. The edited videos Blob produces for you are yours to use however you like, including commercially.

Your code stays yours. If you share source code, a project zip, screenshots, or a link to your site so Blob can generate a product demo, those materials remain entirely yours. We do not read, reuse, redistribute, or train on your source code, and we never use it to build competing products, it is processed only, and automatically, to produce your demo.

Your responsibility for content. You represent that you have the rights to the content you upload and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or break the law. You're responsible for the videos you create and how you use them.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Blob to:

• Upload or create content that is illegal, infringing, or that violates someone else's rights.
• Create content that is harmful, harassing, or deceptive, including non-consensual or deliberately misleading media.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Resell or redistribute the service itself without our permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Billing

Pay-as-you-go. Blob has no subscriptions and no credits, you're billed in plain dollars. You add funds to your balance and spend only as you edit and generate, with a $20 minimum top-up.

Billing. Top-ups are charged through our payment provider at the time you add funds. You authorize us to charge your payment method for each top-up you initiate.

Auto-reload. You may enable auto-reload, which charges your saved payment method for a top-up (an amount you choose) whenever your balance runs low. Auto-reload is optional and can be turned off or changed at any time from your billing settings. By enabling it, you authorize these automatic top-up charges until you disable it.

When you run out. If your balance is too low for an action, new AI work pauses until you add funds (or auto-reload tops you up). Your existing projects and downloads remain accessible.

Refunds. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

6. Availability

We work to keep Blob available and reliable, but we provide the service "as is" and can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance or make changes that temporarily affect availability.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blob is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

8. Termination

You can stop using Blob and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we're required to by law. On termination, your right to use the service ends, and your content may be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
